Its not an uncommon thing at Little Hills Winery to see Karen Sue sitting alone on a Friday evening with a bottle of Gewurtztraminer, a book and an empty glass on the opposite side of the table. You see, Karen used to come to the winery with her mother, Cindy, and share a bottle of "Gewurtz". Some Saturdays they would even come in and have a meal and some wine, then go do some shopping on Main Street together and come back and finish the day at Little Hills. Unfortunately, Cindy passed away unexpectedly this past winter. Now Karen comes to the winery to honor her mom and remember the enjoyable times they had together. Its always heartwarming to have Karen visit us and be a witness to the way she remembers and honors her mother. Cheers to you Karen and Cindy.
